NERVIO advocates for persons with neurological or spinal disorders and related conditions, and lobbies for access to funding and services for such persons.
We work to raise awareness in, and educating, the community and the medical profession regarding the prevention of, and most effective treatments for, neurological or spinal disorders and related conditions, and the importance of neurological and spinal care.
Education
NERVIO provides education, resources, research funding and other assistance to surgical and medical staff, nurses and other health professionals who practice or conduct research in the causes and treatment of persons with neurological or spinal disorders and related conditions.
To provide education, we arrange for, hold and participate in, conferences, lectures, classes and discussions in respect of neurological or spinal conditions and related surgery, disease and care.
Research
NERVIO provides education, resources, research funding and other assistance to surgical and medical staff, nurses and other health professionals who practice or conduct research in the causes and treatment of persons with neurological or spinal disorders and related conditions.
We work to improve functional and quality of life outcomes for such persons and methods of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of neurological or spinal disorders and related conditions by undertaking and funding research and providing resources to improve the health and well-being of patients.
Vital Instrumentation
NERVIO funds surgeries to assist people on public waiting lists to access more timely treatment.
We donate, fund and/or provide specialist surgical and other equipment and resources to public hospitals and other institutions such as neurosurgical or spinal units for the treatment of neurospinal conditions.
Operations
NERVIO provides funds, accommodation, equipment and other assistance and resources for the benefit of patients to assist them to access and receive treatment for their condition from public hospitals and other institutions such as neurosurgical or spinal units.
